We asked if people with a learning disability supported by United Response in England ever voted or got involved in politics.
The survey
At the beginning of the Every Vote Counts! project, we sent out a survey to ask people some important questions.

In May 2008, we published the results of the survey.

We found out that 80% of people with learning disabilities who responded to the survey are registered to vote.

But only 1 in 6 people voted in the last local election.

And only 1 in 8 people voted in the last general election.
