Do you think more people with a learning disability should vote?
Debbie
Yes.
Interviewer
And why is that?
Debbie
They have rights, don't they? Rights. Can't stop them can you? From voting. Their decision. Their right isn't it?
Interviewer
Why do you think that lots of people with learning disabilities don't vote?
Debbie
Don't vote... probably because they've never done voting before. And they probably don't know what it is. And basically they need someone to show them what, how to do it and why they need to do it. I mean, it's right to vote really isn't it? Their decision, their choice.
